Heroic Sacrifice: No matter which of the three villains is defeated, the power of the world's Mana is drained and the Mana Tree is dead.Fairy Companion: She's your companion, regardless of the hero that the player chose, and she is, of course, a faerie.
Trials of mana hawkeye how to#
Exposition Fairy: She knows a lot about the Mana Holyland, why it's in every hero's best interest to get there, and how to do so, so she serves as your guide. Also barefoot after becoming the Mana Goddess, which involves a tenure of at least a thousand years.Does Not Like Shoes: Barefoot for the entirety of the adventure (given that she doesn't need to walk, it makes sense). At least, she never gives a personal name. A Dog Named "Dog": A faerie apparently named Faerie. It's because they happened to be the closest person nearby. Closest Thing We Got: She imparts herself on whomever is chosen as the main character not because of any personality trait or because of some previous goal. Her choice was out of desperation, but it still worked. The Chooser of the One: She, like the rest of her kin, was assigned to pick someone worthy to be the Mana Trees new hero.Ball of Light Transformation: She appears as one when arriving at the lake near Astoria, but then reverts to her faerie form for the rest of the game.Ascended to a Higher Plane of Existence: Becomes the new Goddess of Mana after the Mana Tree has been destroyed. To that end, her and others of her kind set out to find a hero who could save them, but she ended up being the only survivor in the search, coming across the chosen main character of the game and chooses to be a helpful guide to them on their journey. Moon Saber will certainly be a lot more practical and much less annoying for keeping Riesz at 100% HP than healing light."We are searching for the elementals that reside near the Mana Stones of the world."Faerie was a loyal servant of the Mana Tree until it was revealed that it was starting to wither, signalling that evil was brewing to steal its power for their own. Candy, Chocolate and Honey are plenty enough to keep you healed up. I also never use Beiser items, so no Poto Oil. I’ve played through four times on Hard, never wiped once (came close a few times in my first play through) and three of those times never had someone with multi-target healing. In general I don’t find healing to be very valuable. It does cut down pretty significantly on the amount of healing you need during fights, but it doesn’t eliminate it. I’ve found Moon Saber’s sustain to be pretty good. Given you’ll have Moon Energy anyway, and Moon Saber is really nice for Dragon Master, I’d say the choice is between Warrior Monk for more damage overall and MP sustain or Enlightened for more frequent class strikes from Kevin and smoother play with Riesz. Unless I’m missing something big, Enlightened doesn’t miss out on too much damage compared to Fatal Fist, so the main difference comes down to whether you want the more support oriented Moon Saber or attack oriented Moon Energy. It does give a big damage boost to the whole team, after all. Nomad gets a +7% attack aura, which will be nice, though certainly not game changing on a melee team.Īttack Saber is ridiculously good, so I can understand why Enlightened doesn’t get it. Is there any chance in hell that Nomad Hawkeye would use his buffs when played by AI? I know I’ll already have to micro over to Kevin to manually cast leaf saber, would I have to do the same for the CS Boost and crit buffs that Hawkeye Nomad can use?Īny other alternate path setups that might be fun with a focus on controlling Riesz? I was thinking this: dragon master Riesz (looks fun, I like the idea of Opposite effect) + Warrior Monk Kevin (to put leaf saber on Riesz so she can spam debuffs + Nomad Hawkeye And since I wanted to play on mostly riesz, not sure if I wanted to do D/D Kevin However, from what I’ve seen Kevin does not do heaps of damage when his melee is controlled by AI (not like Angela does when played by AI, her AI tears stuff up!). So I know the obvious answer from a min/max perspective would be Starlancer Riesz/Fatal fist Kevin/ Ninja Master Hawkeye. But there’s a catch! I want to be able to play riesz more than the other chars, since she’s the main char, and I already have another playthrough with a Kevin main
